Each tool calculates the facility's payment rate for each separate RUG and the total Medicare Part A payment for the year of interest.
- RUGs IV Rate Calculation Tool: This tool calculates the SNF Medicare Part A payment for FY 2011, effective October 10, 2010.
- RUG III – RUG IV Comparison Rate Tool: The tool will automatically calculate your total Medicare payments for FY 2010 and FY 2011 separately, and provide you with an estimate of the difference in payment as a consequence of the the new RUGs-IV implementation.
