We are pleased to announce a special shared services arrangement with
My InnerView Inc. to provide an evidence-based management system to track, trend, and benchmark operational performance for AAHSA and its members. This system can help members with their commitment to
AAHSA Quality First. Collecting and analyzing data, including consumer and employee satisfaction findings, can help AAHSA members evaluate the quality of their services and identify opportunities and methods for improvement.
My InnerView is focused on meeting the critical day-to-day needs of managers and leadership teams within long-term care organizations by providing them with:
- User-friendly web-based data management system designed to help enhance performance in your community and identify stress areas before they become liabilities;
- Satisfaction surveys and operational performance tools for your community to benchmark against the largest 'real time' national database in the profession. One of the keys to successful quality management depends on the ability to compare performance with others;
- Ongoing research and development of new tools and approaches for improved quality of care in the long-term care profession;
- Training and educational materials, accessible via the Web, geared toward helping you continue to develop and refine the skills and knowledge of your staff including the profession's first educational game to enhance staff's critical thinking skills;
- Pricing that appreciates the thin margins in operating long-term care communities.
My InnerView Inc. has created a unique web-based management intelligence system based on the importance of the relationship of collecting good data and achieving good outcomes. The principals and staff of My InnerView are highly experienced in all aspects of long-term care including operations, clinical, administration, data management, training and education, and applied research. My InnerView's dedication to evidence-based systems to drive quality performance is reflected in its research department staffed by seasoned long-term care researchers — Leslie Grant, Ph.D.; V. Tellis-Nayak, Ph.D.; Sandra Potthoff, Ph.D.; Cesar Guerra-Salcedo, Ph.D.; and Jean Grube, Ph.D.
Specifically, My InnerView will provide to AAHSA and its members:
- Reduced pricing for access to a web-based system of monthly reports to track, trend and benchmark operational performance on clinical indicators, quality of life indicators, employee commitment, occupancy, state surveys, resident/family and staff satisfaction surveys via the Quality Profile™. All community reports are confidential to each community.
- Members electing to do satisfaction surveys for residents/ families and employees will receive special AAHSA member pricing. Each participating provider will have the ability to benchmark satisfaction performance to the largest long term care database in the country.
- Members will have access to a state of the art web-based self-assessment culture change staging tool. This unique tool has been created by a leading national long-term care researcher involved in culture change (Leslie Grant Ph.D.) and is useful to document a community's culture change progress.
- AAHSA members will also be able to access web-based training and educational materials which cover a wide range of topics and include trainer scripts, staff handout materials, presentation visuals, evaluations, and handouts specially prepared for residents and families.
