AAHSA has decided it is time to solve the problem of how we finance long-term care in this country. We set out to study every conceivable way to finance long-term care.
We looked at worldwide approaches that work. Our conclusion? We need a national insurance trust charged with providing affordable, flexible, accessible long-term care. And we discovered it can be done in a fiscally sound way for the daily cost of a cup of coffee.
