By Metro:

AAHSA is located near the Woodley Park/Zoo - Adams Morgan metro station. Upon exiting the elevator or escalator, walk one block south (downhill) along Connecticut Avenue to the stoplight intersection with Calvert Street. AAHSA's three-story brown-brick building is diagonally opposite the Chipotle Mexican restaurant. The entrance is on the Connecticut Avenue side.

To get to the Woodley Park/Zoo-Adams Morgan Metro station, take the red line train. Passengers can change from the Orange and Blue line trains to the Red line at Metro Center, and from the Green and Yellow line trains at Gallery Place-Chinatown. From these transfer points take the Red line train toward the Shady Grove terminus, exiting at Woodley Park.

By automobile/taxi:

AAHSA is located on Connecticut Avenue NW at the corner of Calvert Street. The three-story brown-brick building is the only structure between Calvert Street and the end of the large bridge leading toward downtown DC. There are massive stone lions guarding the end of the bridge. The parking garage is accessible from the Calvert Street side of the building. The office entrance is on Connecticut Avenue, at the mouth of the bridge. Don't be confused by the Long and Foster entrance, which is on the corner of the building. AAHSA's entrance is between the two smaller planters about halfway down the building front on Connecticut Avenue.

From the Washington Beltway (I-495), on the North, take Connecticut Avenue south. Where Woodley Road crosses Connecticut, you will notice on your right side the very large red brick Marriott-Wardman Park Hotel. You are just two blocks from AAHSA. Turn left at Calvert Street, and make an immediate right turn to enter the parking garage. The office entrance is on Connecticut Avenue, at the mouth of the bridge.

From I-95 and I-495 on the South side of the Beltway, take I-395 North across the 14th Street Bridge and up the 14th Street to K Street NW. Turn left onto I Street. Take a right on 17th Street, which becomes Connecticut Avenue. Continue on Connecticut Avenue, going under a traffic circle. You will reach a bridge that ends before a traffic light at Calvert Avenue. Our building is on this corner on your right. Turn right on Calvert; the parking garage is accessible from the Calvert Street side of the building. The office entrance is on Connecticut Avenue, at the mouth of the bridge.
