AAHSA Survey on Leadership, Social Capital and Organizational Effectiveness

AAHSA Survey on Leadership, Social Capital and Organizational Effectiveness

What makes an effective leader? How do the qualities and behaviors of a leader influence the performance or his or her in organization? How do different activities of the leader affect various organizational outcomes?

We currently have an electronic survey sent to a number of AAHSA members.

The overarching (and admittedly overreaching) purpose of this survey is to a feed data for a study to create knowledge that will inform, benefit and prepare nonprofit aging service organizations and their leaders to better meet the challenge of serving an aging society.

The survey probes AAHSA members about their leadership style, their perceptions of uncertainty in the external environment, their relationship and networking activities within and outside their organizations and their organization's performance measures. Importantly, the research seeks to help understand the connections between a leader's leadership style, perception of the external environment, relationship building behaviors and their organization's performance.

We ask that if you, as an AAHSA member, have received the electronic survey, please respond. You, your colleagues, your organization and future leaders will respond.

Take the survey.
