Audio Conference on American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

On Mar. 11, 2009, AAHSA hosted The New Economic Stimulus Package: What’s In It for Aging Services, a free audio conference on what the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 means for AAHSA members and their residents and clients. We offered this audio conference for free because we believe it's important for AAHSA members to understand how funds from the new economic stimulus bill travel from the White House to their organizations.

During the call, AAHSA staff members discussed specific information on funding for Medicaid, health information technology implementation, senior housing and home and community-based (HCBS) services.

Join AAHSA's Barbara Gay, director of advocacy information, Alayna Waldrum, housing legislative representative, Peter Notarstefano, director of home and community-based services, and Marsha Greenfield, senior legislative counsel, for this informative audio conference. You'll also need our accompanying presentation to follow along.
